Apartment Review for Wingwood Apartments - Orlando, FL

its a cheap, low level place that might be passable enough if it wasn't for the following. i am angry and afraid for my friend because of the following... my female friend was just robbed there, TWICE. after the first robbery in which a smashed kitchen side window was supposedly used to get in, she tried to get out of the lease. the corporate office of EMP that owns or runs the place , didn't care and wouldnt let her . she got robbed again a few weeks later. (smashed bedroom window) she is scared out of her mind, terrified rape will be next. I doubt EMP will care, because she was told that even if someone is sick and dying, they wont be let out of their lease. though windows were smashed each time,looking at the details, it appears a key might have been involved, and the window smashing a possible diversion. it was not until after the 2nd robbery that locks were finally changed for her. a temp maintenance guy was let into her apt weeks earlier , alone , to work on her apt when she explicitly had it as part of her lease that she was to be notified prior to any such thing. she wanted to stay in control of who went into her apt but they didnt honor that. he had a chance to look around in there. while working, unwatched by her as she wanted. he also had the door wide open to her place, so others could see what she had. plus, she is robbed each time RIGHT after leaving the apt. also, one of the residents and his buddies seem to be watching her. stay away from this dangerous ghetto and pray for my friend. if EMP finally acts decent and lets her go without any sort of penalty to her credit,and gives her a written and signed statement to that effect, i will be fair and come back and tell you all.
