Apartment Review for Windrift Apartments - Orlando, FL

This is the second apartment that I have lived in and it has been the worst experience I have ever had. The staff lied about the "no short term lease fee" to start with. It's actually $75 extra A MONTH. They also failed to tell me about all of the hidden fees which totaled over $600... BEFORE MOVE IN. The apartment that I got was not the one they showed me on the tour... it was much smaller and directly beside the busy road which I specifically told them I did not want. They did give me the upgraded appliances; but when I spoke to the girl who was handling my lease I told her I didn't want the upgraded appliances because it would cost more. My first week there I received a sticker on my window ( when I took it off it left a sticky resin which took me a week to get off) stating that I wasn't in compliance with parking regulations and my car would be towed if I didn't contact the office. My tags were expired and I was getting them in the mail from the state I moved from that week, and when I explained that to the office (yes the office staff put the tow sticker on my vehicle) they simply said, "Well if we see the car leave the complex then we have no choice but to call the police for improper tags." The apartments themselves are nothing more than ok, but certainly not worth as much as they charge. If it weren't for the staff I wouldn't be writing this review but I have something new to deal with every week. I have 5 more months on my lease and I'm counting the days until I can move.
