Apartment Review for University Apartments - Orlando, FL

I was living here when Wesley was managing the property, and I've been living here under the new manager. Things aren't just as bad--they're worse. Maintenance never seems to have time to fix problems correctly the first time, and getting one of the maintenance people usually entails going to the office multiple times and nagging the manager to send someone out. Management will cut utilities like water off with no advance notice. The entire time I've been here, the pool has been closed. It's currently a stagnating puddle of water, inviting malaria... In spite of the new manager, the property is still a dump. The units were built in the 1970's and don't look as if they've been touched since. The flooring in my unit is stained carpeting and industrial grade vinyl that's been so heavily trod upon that you can see the stain of the traffic pattern on it. Yes, it's cheap, but it's also "get what you pay for." Cheap rent means incompetent management, lazy maintenance (seems they spend more time on siesta outside the laundry room than they do working), and ghetto-style living conditions.
