if you call code enforcement on them & the apartment get condemned & you terminate the lease because you do not want the dirt hole any more, they will run around saying they evicted you!!! when you condemned their pace & left! for anybody who rents: the landlord can not help himself to evict you! he needs to go to court 1st & they need good reason like you do not pay rent ..they can not just say what ever they want & the judge believe them!! if they throw your stuff out or retaliate against you or harrase you or change the key while you are still on the contract,you can take him/them to prison! if any landlord send you an eviction note let him eat it! do not leave or you lose your rights, it is just a piece of paper till the government sign it & this won't happen till they hear your side of the story, if he is serious he needs to go to court, anything else is just harrasment that you can keep as evidance against the management!
