Apartment Review for Pegasus Pointe - Orlando, FL

I lived in Pegasus Pointe for 12 months...from August 2004-August 2005. During the long 12 months I was here, my boyfriend's car was broken into. He had his stereo and multiple other things stolen out of his car. Don't be surprised, this is a common thing around Pegasus Pointe. There are rarely any visitor parking spaces available, and if they are, it is by the wooded area (which is where most of the cars are broken into)....The walls are paper thin and you can hear the people next to you having sex or fighting...People leave their garbage in the halls and it get disgusting...One entire complex BURNT DOWN when some idiot put out their cigarette in the arm rest of a chair!!! There were spiders and silverfish and roaches EVERYWHERE! We had the pest control come over 7 times during our stay and nothing changed with the bugs! It looked clean and peaceful when we moved in. My roommate and I kept our apartment EXTREMEMLY clean, (I am a germaphob), and yet bugs constantly appeared. Another annoying thing is the maintence men, they LET themselves into your apartment (girls it is kinda scary!). I was in the shower once and got out (thank God with a towel around me) and one was in the hallway...They are nice, but have no respect for privacy. The LWA's are LAZY and STUPID...Some are nice, don't get me wrong, but most of them are jackasses...Don't let the great sales pitch and the nice apartment they show you fool you...Ask them to show you a different one, they won't. This place is total scum, if you live in Pegasus Pointe after this, you are ASKING for problems. Living here will be a NIGHTMARE! Look elsewhere!! (Not in Pegasus Connection or Pegasus Landing...they are just as bad). Good luck!
