Apartment Review for Island Club Apartments - Orlando, FL

On August 29, 2009, SEVEN gun shots went off right outside our bedroom window. We reported an outdoor light being out on our building exterior near the parking area back in early July; it still has not been repaired after 4 reports to the office about this light being out. Some time ago, several holes were dug in the ground near the parking area. Due to the light being out, I twisted my ankle by falling into one of the holes at night before I knew it was there. After reporting the holes and requesting they be filled, nothing was done. My partner finally got a shovel and filled it himself for our own safety. While the unit is pet friendly with a washer dryer in each unit, the lack of safety & security and lack of attention to maintenance requests make this an UNDESIRABLE living location.
