Apartment Review for Chickasaw Crossing - Orlando, FL

Units are above average, clean, not too old inside. Fireplace is a nice touch in some units. Fairly spacious units for the money, though patios are a little small.

My unit was in the back, facing the 408. Traffic was rather loud, but we honestly got used to it after a couple weeks. But no noisy neighbors and no noisy ghetto cars driving through at night. Hardly ever saw any young children or teens loitering at night or weekends.

Maintenence staff was always prompt and effective. Didn't deal with office staff too often, but extended hours and weekend hours are nice.

Grounds are nice, and well kept. Pool area is above average. Gym is pretty crappy, but I guess on par for most apartments.

Parking is always plentiful, never a need to park far, no special visitor parking areas needed. Roads are very curvy, so can be a little dangerous pulling out of spots.

Complex seems to be in a decent area, but crime was rampant. Many cars broken into, and many apartments were robbed. Mine was robbed along with 5 others in the same day, in the daytime! They got keys somehow, no forced entry.

Overall a nice place to live. Stay away from the expressway. And above all else, get renter's insurance. $12 a month is worth it, even if you dont live in a crime-ridden area like this.
