Apartment Review for Alexandria At Lake Buena Vista - Orlando, FL

After five years I have finally decided to move, due to the new management company (Equity apartments). They post notices on doors about late and missing rent, even when it is paid in full, which they claim they mailed a letter and called regarding this issue which is false. I am aware of this happening to others also. When you go into the office, they are rude and treat you like you owe them. They do not believe in customer service. If you ask to see a manager or talk to one, they pass on the message, but you never hear from them. There is dog crap every where that they don t clean up. You have to ask repeatedly to have pest control come in or have something fixed. My garbage disposal was broken for at least two months. My door still doesn t work right and I have broken my key off in it at least twice. My neighbors are loud and party. They golf empty beer bottles off their balcony, so there is broken glass all over the place (which they don t clean up). Our building fire alarm has been pulled in the middle of the night so many times. The building fires alarm is incredibly loud that when it goes off you are awake for the rest of the night. The fire alarm has gone off more then 12 times in the last 6 months, usually in the middle of the night. It has gone off so many times that we don t even bother leaving our apartment any more. The only benefit they offer to stay here is to increase your rent each year. They have even changed the pool hours to dawn to dusk, so unless you are unemployed you can t go and enjoy the Jacuzzi after work. I bought a house, so I would not have to deal with them. Go next door to the rent controlled place if you want to be treated like crap at least don t pay a fortune for it!!!!! My car has also been broken into 4 times!!!!!
