| I have had rats! yes rats at one of the most expensive apartments in all of orlando! November 2005 There was a shooting- a resident went crazy (it was in the news) and the police had to surround the building! They had a stand off for a few hours! Spring 2005 The best was the water main break in September 2006- all tower residents were evacuated! We had to live in a motel for days!!! Many peoples things were destroyed & they could careless.
When it rains or late at nite many homeless people gather in front of the apartment for shelter and hassle residents for money.
The a/c is turned on for the entire building and each tenant has little control over the temperture. The vents are old and make a weird noise when they are cycling on and off. Additionally when it gets cold in Orlando the buildings heat is also not controlled by individuals tenants. It is not turned on during the days or until the temperature hits a very low climate. I was so cold I had to wear layers of clothing in my bedroom. I can feel the breeze when the wind blew outside.
Trust me do not be deceived by the fabulous location--it is an old building disguised with new paint. It is not up to code and has many issues since it was built in the 1950's
