| We moved here from another city a few hundred miles away looking for an apartment. We came across this place which looked like a decent place to live, went on a tour and everything looked okay. We weren't shown our exact apartment because it wasn't yet ready. The model looked fine. Once we moved in we noticed the apartment was basically painted over with that cheap, no-gloss, no-durability paint(everything was painted over, even electical outlets). There are holes in the hall closet and bathroom wall. The front door looked as if it's been broken before and you can see light shile through the sides of the door. Roaches are present throughout the day. The tenents next door smoke and their nasty cigarette smoke enters our apartment via the A/C vents. I lived 3 years at my last apartment complex and it was very old and police were out there nearly everday but it was no where near as bad as this place. The management are bold-face liars.
The main problem with the management/maintenence is that you tell them your problems, they smile in your face, tell you they'll fix it today or in the morning but they never come. It's unbelievable. We specifically told them about three problems, over and over again. Finally, after about a month, maintanence came to fix the problems. The management is ridiculous. We pay too much per month for this and they had the nerve to increase rent $75 after we moved in, the new tenents will be stuck with that! I've been here 2 months and I've been ready to move since day one. Please find plenty good alternatives before even thinking about moving here. |
